I’m Melissa,

a private chef, food stylist, and artist based in Miami. I approach food as both craft and creative expression: hyper-seasonal, visually driven, and rooted in a deep respect for ingredients and the people behind them.

After more than a decade cooking for celebrity and high-profile clients, including my ongoing work with DJ Khaled and his family, my practice has expanded into food styling, sculpture, ceramics, and floral design. Every medium connects back to the same instinct: finding the beauty in a single ingredient, and letting it guide the work.

I grew up in a Mexican-American family in California, where I learned to honor the seasons and cook with intention. That foundation shapes everything— from a plate I set down at a private dinner to a sculptural installation built from raw ingredients. It keeps the work honest.
